Terms of Service
Welcome to ThinkerLoop. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of thinkerloop.app. By using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. Acceptance
By visiting, browsing, or using ThinkerLoop, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The service
ThinkerLoop is a free web-based puzzle and brain-training platform. Features include daily puzzles, an educational “Intellect Core” breakdown after each solve, optional Google sign-in, and a public leaderboard.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ThinkerLoop. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
4. Accounts
Sign-in is optional. When you sign in with Google, you agree that:
- The information Google shares with us (name, email, photo) is accurate.
- You are responsible for activity performed under your account.
- You will notify us at care@thinkerloop.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
You can delete your account and associated leaderboard row at any time by writing to us. We will action deletion within 30 days.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, or automation to solve puzzles or inflate scores on the leaderboard.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is publicly served to your browser.
- Copy, redistribute, or resell puzzle content without written permission.
- Attack, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the security of the service.
- Use the service to publish content that infringes on third-party rights, is unlawful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or authentication features.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these rules, and to reset leaderboard entries suspected of cheating.
6. Intellectual property
All puzzles, branding, code, design, sounds, and copy on ThinkerLoop are © ThinkerLoop or licensed to us. You retain no rights to reuse, republish, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Puzzle solutions and “Intellect Core” explanations are provided for personal educational use only.
7. User-generated content
The only user content ThinkerLoop stores is your display name and profile photo from Google. By signing in, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display these on the public leaderboard for as long as your account is active.
8. Third-party services
The service integrates with Google (sign-in, AdSense), Supabase (data storage), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or actions taken by third parties.
9. Advertising
ThinkerLoop displays advertisements to keep the platform free. Ads are served primarily by Google AdSense. We do not endorse advertised products and are not responsible for the accuracy of ad content. Report abusive ads to care@thinkerloop.app.
10. Disclaimer
ThinkerLoop is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, availability, or reliability of the service. Use at your own risk. Your streaks, stars, and leaderboard position are entertainment features, not guarantees of any kind.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkerLoop and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months — for a free service, that amount is zero.
12. Termination
You can stop using ThinkerLoop at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on the site with at least 14 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
